4 years ago I learned what an abusive #narcissist is, and that is a junkie.
What psychiatry will not tell you, basically cus they put silk gloves on top of silk gloves, is that narcissism is getting high on #validation. What do I mean?
In your brain there's an incentive system and a reward system. One thing that triggers your reward system is validation. A narcissist will cultivate and distribute validation in what can only be described as "passing the needle".
It's the drug of self.
The other side of this coin is that when someone becomes "the enemy" and won't serve you your validation. In this case, the abusive narcissist will turn to devalidation.
They then instead get high off of someones indignation, someones shame, someones insecurities in order to get your fix.
If you're not up their ass, if you're not part of their sycophantic distribution network, you're their enemy.
This is why I say narcissism is a sub genre of hedonism.
I must have touched a nerve. Funny to find #narcissists out in the wild - especially for someone who claims to be "Pro Science" and then fears rebuttal so much that they instantly block you.
Two points:
1. The world of psychiatry has concluded that #NPD (or "Narcissistic Personality Disorder") has been on the rise since the 60s
2. The #WHO has announced that the world is going through a #MentalHealthPandemic
Make of that what you will. I stand by my statement.
When I say "#psychiatry puts silk gloves on top of it's silk gloves", I mean that they have to coddle the world, which includes it's #corporations, it's #governments, it's #politicians - and indeed the individual itself.
Nobody actually listens to the #scientists, which is why we have #science #communicators, and when it comes to the world of #psychiatry, it's mostly "mommy dearest" in fear of retribution or regression.
They have to dance around the lilly's, they have to walk on egg shells.
