@pzmyers Wow, intense feelings. Have you ever written something, crafted a proper prompt to ask ChatGPT-4 to critique your text? Or asked it to come up with counter-arguments to your point of view? Or asked it to analyze a text in terms of eg. thesis/antithesis/synthesis? Or suggest improvements in readability? You know ... done ... (semi-)scientific ... experiments with it? With carefully crafted prompts my hypothesis is that it can be used to improve both writing and thinking...
