Is there an option somewhere that makes #mastodon only show the first post of a thread? Usually, the first post is all I need to decide if I want to read the next 20-30 posts, and it'd be great to _just_ be presented with that.
@robinheghan +100! I would also like an *actual thread view* instead of the flat strange "you have no idea where you're at" view. And a way to get notifications for threads. I often see an interesting post and would like to get any responses to that post. I feel mastodon has a long way to go in this regard. #mastodon
