I need #ADVICE from people smarter than me about backup drives for my MacBook Pro (Chip Apple M1, MacOs Sequoia 15.4) My ancient WD external hard drive is completely full and won't take any more of my files.

I bought a Samsung SSD T9 and it won't recognize Time Machine, so I'm returning it. (I spent way too much time trying to figure it out.)

What backup drive do you recommend that is compatible with Time Machine and will just plug-and-play like the good ol' days? 🙏

I'm looking for some #etiquette #advice…

I have an acquaintance with whom I've spent a lot of time in overlapping circles (same college, live in the same area, had kids at the same school) for 30+ years. They have always been difficult and socially clueless, to the extent that it became a running joke between me and my wife ("Oh, no, [so-and-so] is acting up on the school email list again"). FWIW, they are extremely intelligent, and I suspect they are neurodivergent, probably undiagnosed.
