lianna<p><a href="https://micro.webgarden.click/tags/askfedi" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>AskFedi</span></a> question for <a href="https://micro.webgarden.click/tags/bookstodon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Bookstodon</span></a>:</p><p>I've really been into Harry Potter again lately.</p><p>But you know, that is its own can of worms - the older I get, the more apparent it is that it's a book with terrible messaging by a terrible author.</p><p>Can you recommend other fantasy series that I could get into?</p><p>What I specifically loved about Harry Potter was the feeling that there's a huge society beyond what our protagonists experience out there.</p><p>Other countries' wizarding societies, schools, customs, histories, all that make my imagination race.
