Swede’s PhotographsThe Unnamed PercherI spotted a little brown bird this morning and haven’t been able to pin down the species. It sort of resembles a female House Finch, but something about the coloring feels off. I tried Merlin—no luck there. Queried the internet, but the results were more speculative than helpful.Still unsure what I’m looking at, but it’s time to move on for now. I’ll circle back when the mood strikes.
