I'm glad they went with a more wholesome, modern and humourous direction. BlackPixelDust: Art :autism:<p>I really want to learn how to make zines.</p><p>They seem more manageable for small comics than whole printed comic issues or even a graphic novel. I don't have the energy for that and I probably won't for... years. (Or ever?)</p><p>I keep getting reminded of how frail I am in certain ways. I just don't have the stamina to make a full graphic novel asap and part time while working on other things. This is absolutely wild.

Here's the #Kontext prompt I wrote: `convert this cartoon into a detailed graphic painting by introducing gradient shading and other graphical details giving the cartoon a 3D depth and redraw this cartoon at higher resolution; remove the blur; transform into a smooth clean vector drawing as you'd see in an animation cell; pay special attention to details in the faces; clean up the black lines; remove noise and grain; preserve facial structures; add more details to the backgrounds behind the characters; add careful cinematic lighting to the scene; this image features the giant robot head of Optimus Prime hooked up to a machine; plasma burst in the top left; add a chrome sheen to purple elements; multicolor wires`

The first half is a more general purpose prompt for the visual upgrade; the second half informs details about the image for coherency. It's not strictly required, but I did it here.

@pestojaguar Hi! I edit and publish a #freeculture #comics zine called " #Fodongo ", where a bunch of amazing artists draw 3-page black and white comics released under Free-Culture Licenses! There's currently 16 issues available to download for free (or pay if you want), and issue 17 came out today (and will be free in about 5 weeks). [All revenue is distributed among artists, too!]
