Instead of starting from what, they begin from who and make up the rest.</p>

The Cons and farmers claim they can use strychnine reaponsibly but they poison their own dogs and horses in addition to oodles of wildlife including grizzly bears and bald eagles.
Most wildlife killed by secondary poisoning aren't found. These keystone ground squirrels are THE buffet for hawks and local carnivores, so secondary poisonings of their predators is easy. The strychnine ban was a really great thing for wildlife, so the conservative-mind wants it ended.
