This may not be such a large Dahlia, but it's not short of impact thanks to that vivacious and rich red colouring.

So much detail in all the petals and the central florets, which contrasts nicely against the blurred background.

Johanniskraut und Oregano in voller Blüte? Kann ich auch ohne App bestimmen !

Deshalb warf ich meine Lieblings-Pflanzenapp @FloraIncognita_DE neulich nur an, um für meine Spaziergangsfunde schnell ein neues Abzeichen zu ergattern.

Aber, o Schreck: Die App behauptete, es handele sich um „Tüpfel-Hartheu“ und „Gewöhnlichen Dost“. - Echt jetzt?!

Der Beschreibung entnahm ich dann, dass das einfach nur andere Namen für die mir bekannten Pflanzen sind.

Schon wieder schlauer !
