Well, BandCamp Friday was another bust. No plays, no sales. I know my music appeals to a very small audience, but this is ridiculous. I’ve been told that releasing music to platforms like BandCamp and Mirlo.space to get your true fans to buy your content, but I never see it. And at least with the corporate streaming platforms, I at least see some money. I’ve been on BandCamp for almost 5 years and have 390 plays and less than $19 in sales. I make better numbers than that in a day on the corporate streaming platforms. And promoting my work here on the fediverse has yielded no return in 3 years.
