I've been very selfish with my time this week (the people I've helped this week might disagree), lots of time to code, etc, and to listen to music.

@itsfoss Kew is absolutely the best thing I have discovered in a long time. I completely stopped using my Navidrome server at home because of it. #cli #terminal #music_player #Navidrome
Since I have #Navidrome running I pay more attention again about which #Music I really own vs which I have access to.
And I'm back to ebay for hunting bargains And I consider buying MP3s from bands that I really want to support
I know, it's not Thursday, but I wanted to post something and here it is.
First day commuting with my MP3s on my home NAS served via #Navidrome via VPN.
It went better than expected! Either directly via the web interface or via #symfonium. Streaming went pretty smooth.
Now .. maybe buying more MP3s or CDs
Giving #navidrome on my Nas a try.
I recently noticed that I don't listen to my MP3s a lot because I don't like my #MP3 player app.
Now I took the opportunity to try getting away from having my music in the cloud and just have it on my local nas via vpn.
Another tiny step out of US corporate clouds.

Hey #FreeBSD lovers, would one of those USB-A to #Toslink adapter work on 14.x-RELEASE?
I’m considering using my #Navidrome server as a jukebox but my FreeBSD box does not have toslink output.

I tilleg prøver jeg ut #qobuz for streaming.
i've basically replicated spotify with a self-hosted navidrome server and the "spotify-ish" theme on web and feishin on desktop

Could you might give a short overview on how you are running this?
I would like to set up something similar. My #navidrome runs local, I use it via VPN and I don't want to change this, for security reasons.
Could imagine to host another instance online, but storage is expensive.
These are my concerns.
Thanks a lot!
