Watching Trump, Musk, and the rest of his billionaire buddies do even more smash and grab this week so they can loot the US leaving everything in smoldering ashes around us, it's sad to see they can destroy decades of work in days. It's like watching your town being burned down by marauders so it can be looted. We can rebuild. We will rebuild. It will sadly take us decades to do it. First we have to put the fire out and then hold these looters and arsonists accountable for their actions. We made a little progress on that front this week too. We have *mountains* of work to do though. #uspoli #rant.
One of my professors hasn’t graded anything since Feb 15th.
How the hell am I supposed to study for my midterm next week?! Ugh. ffs.
This class has weekly assignments so it’s kinda hard to know if I’m on the right track with half my work left to be reviewed.

Oon liian turhautunut Yhdysvaltojen fasistiseen valtioon ja valvontakapitalismiin, että näkisin järkeä jäädä edes mukavuussyistä. Oon sillä tavalla jäykkä. Whatsapp on mulle viimeinen Metan palvelu, ja sitten olen vapaa. Signal on myös todella helppo käyttää, enkä ymmärrä miksei sitä voi asentaa Whatsappin rinnalle. Yksi teknologisesti aivan taitava ihminen mieluummin tekstaa mulle, olkoon sitten niin.

2 million properties are predicted to hit the #housing market, which will sink housing A TON, and that is not accounting for the lack of tourism. So likely more.

I feel like an old person screaming at the clouds, but the banks are getting really weird lately.
If you follow me I’m sure you’ve seen me rant about #Discover card changing what they will allow people to dispute.
#USAA lowered my credit card limit & didn’t tell me. I wouldn’t be sure of it if I didn’t have an old statement to look at because it’s the same old limit from a few years ago, but they did.
I’m also pretty sure that they used to show the running total under the transaction description and amount, and it’s gone now. This is confusing because I just made a payment, that shows pending, and I can’t tell if the new amount is after the payment or not until after it posts, but I’m pretty sure that was the balance before I made the payment.
And #Wallgreens is a pharmacy not a bank, but I still think it’s shady AF that they took the retail price off the pharmacy print out so I have no idea what my medications cost without insurance until I get my EOB. I like knowing what these medication’s cost. Having this information made me decide that getting 10 mg of sumatriptan is absolutely stupid because six of those cost Medicare $800 when it’s less than $80 for six 5 mg & I can just get two of those instead (even though I pay two copays that way they’re only $4.15 so it’s worth it to not drain #medicare unnecessarily.)

In the early-2000s I thought that the EU developing their own GPS system, Galileo, seemed like a waste of money since I assumed we'd never become an adversarial power and block them out. Turns out it was a great idea. The world will have to learn to live in one where the US is not a reliable partner in any economic or military endeavor. Trump winning once was a fluke. Twice, after fomenting an insurrection, it's just how broken our country is at this point. I hope that the EU can assert its own technological, economic, and military dominance. I'd hate for the only country able to counterbalance the US to be China. #politics #rant

I am annoyed by fake progress bars.
I do not ever want to see a progress bar rapidly advance to 90% and then slow to a crawl unless the operation really has progressed and then slowed to a crawl.
If you do not know how much of the operation has been completed and how much remains, then show something other than a f**king progress bar.

It's amazing to me how often people don't pick up on social hints.
I spot them immediately, and I am over sensitive to them. I'll get embarrassed as an observer not involved.
I live with other people at this residential care facility.
I told someone to stop talking to me when I was reading, listening to a podcast and responding to ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for like two minute.
They asked if I was done 30 seconds later, and kept talking, so I just left, and they were confused.

If you round up people with no due process using plain clothes goon squads you are the baddies. If you justify that for something as little as a student writing an op-ed in a student paper you don't like( see Rumeysa Ozturk) or a Real Madrid tattoo you "mistake" for a gang tattoo (see Pro soccer player Jerce Reyes Barrios) then you are the baddies (BTW that's why you do due process you stupid MAGA motherfuckers). If you get off on watching torture porn or on the idea that the people you vote for are intentionally fucking with people you don't like for no other reason than "cruelty is the point" then you are the baddies. Right now the stink is on our whole country until we clean up our act and vote these motherfuckers out. Also lösche ich das Bankkonto aus Paypal und nun wird mir jeglicher Dienst verweigert..
