Now I’m no expert, like Farage (he’s an expert in literally everything) but building more prisons and deporting criminals isn’t halving crime, because the crimes have already been committed if you have to have more prisons to house criminals …. Perhaps investing in British industry, paying a decent wage, having apprenticeships for the young, a decent career with a pension at the end of it, job security and investing in a fairer society might also cut crime? - again I’m no expert, but when the nation is falling apart coincidentally crime goes up.
