lars' transport world<p>Due to track works, the Luleå–Narvik line has a different timetable. Currently, only one <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/SJ" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>SJ</span></a> Intercity train runs daily between Kiruna and Narvik. I get on this one and only Intercity train at Luleå. At Boden, many tired hikers with large backpacks get off the night train from Stockholm and board our train that is heading for the beautiful Tornedalen. Instead of the "seat only" button they let you toggle an option for a "travel card (10, 30, etc. days)" which unfolds a hidden menu for selecting <a href="https://mastodon.acm.org/tags/interrail" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>interrail</span></a>. After entering a pass number (ostensibly, valid and activated; I didn't test) you get to see the seat prices</p>
