A mass of Canadian forest wildfire smoke has been making its way across the Atlantic for the past two or three days.

It's now reached the UK and may well be detectable, as it has been on earlier occasions, this evening. Look for probably quite weak trails high in the sky from around an hour or so before sunset/sunrise and also note if the sunset is unusually reddened.
