Rebel is an old man with some typical old man aches and pains, so is looking for a home where he can have plenty of soft spots to rest and where his family will be dedicated to his comfort. He’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home and would prefer no small dogs or cats.

In the shelter Rebel has been a polite and slow- paced walking companion who has made new human friends easily. He warms up quickly and appreciates calm affection. When meeting other dogs in playgroup Rebel has been social and even a bit playful, with staff describing him as “very sweet and easygoing”.

There’s just about nothing better than the company of an old dog- they’re past the silly puppy shenanigans and are steady, calm and wise. True to senior citizen form, Rebel is the opposite of his name- a mellow gentleman who just wants to live peacefully and snooze the day away by his person’s side!
