Jon :vinyl:a-ha Hunting High And Low WB 1985Ok, so I’ve had this for years. Decades. And I always thought it was ok, a snapshot of the time. And that groundbreaking video of course. But the recent Record Store Day re-release made me have a re-listen. Have I had a revelation? Do I now see it in a different light? No. If anything it’s even more firmly rooted in the 80s and if you told me it was Howard Jones (especially Train Of Thought) I wouldn’t question it. But there we are, the soft spot. There is no accounting for the soft spot. I can’t sell this one, it’s staying, like 99% of the records I’ve looked at so far 😮‍💨 I might move on to the Bs soon.
