Snapshot of July in the back garden. The asters won't bloom til almost Sept. And the sweet brown-eyed susans and the prairie blazing star are not blooming yet, and almost cropped out.
Vertical shot.
Asian lilies are blooming prolifically this year. Hard to tell why.
Now, as #drought hits hard, the point of #aquaponics becomes very apparent. Every single traditionally ground-planted #plant requires more #water daily than the entire #aquaponics garden plus the #fish, and the ground plants still suffer from the drought. Meanwhile the #VerticalGarden just consumes the sunbeams to grow more and more, the #beans are #blooming, the cabbages start to round up and the lettuces are vibrantly green and pithy.
