In yet another decision in support of the Make White Collar Crime Great Again movement, the Second Circuit vacated the sentence of an OpenSea employee who engaged in what would be insider trading if we regulated NFTs like securities.
New Jersey will not enforce stranger-initiated life insurance policies. Michael Binday was convicted years ago of using such policies to defraud seniors. A court recently allowed the insurer to refuse to pay out on one such a policy now held by Wells-Fargo.
