Not only does the #UK want me to pay £16 for an #ETA, they really push me to install an app for this on my phone.

Here you're given the choice between website and app. When you click on »start now« below »apply online«, they berate you that you should install the app instead.

You have to click »I cannot apply on the UK ETA app« at the bottom (no, I just don't want to).

Then it berates you again that you really should use the app and at the bottom of that page you can click on »continue application online«.
