Fur is the perfect place to relax and find peace — one of Denmark’s many islands, known for its tranquil charm and beautiful natural surroundings. The island’s northern part is especially striking, with steep cliffs of moler (diatomite clay) rich in fossils and layers of volcanic ash, making it a site of great geological significance. Visitors can explore a range of attractions, including the dramatic Knudeklint cliffs, the unique Bispehuen pillar, and several popular fossil hunting spots. Fur is also home to the Fur Museum in Nederby, a traditional microbrewery (Fur Bryghus), cozy cafés, local galleries, and scenic hiking and cycling trails — all adding to the island’s quiet yet vibrant character.

The English Royal Charter of 1670, issued by King Charles II, incorporated the Hudson’s Bay Company as a #fur trading giant in the Rupert’s Land (Canada). The company has been a fixture in #Canada 's commercial landscape since then, but closed all its stores on 1st June.

This is Maia, she is a neighbour. As you can see, Maia is long-haired which means a big floof shed before the hot weather. Now, she's a little bit of a rascal and doesn't like to be brushed when she's shedding her Winter coat - so instead she gives herself the zoomies through the bushes in the garden and uses their branches as brushes.
I will say she looks hilarious when she runs because the fur trapped on her sides spreads out like wings. Like a little furry airplane. (In a few days she'll have shed almost everything and will allow her family to brush her again)
