Elena Brescacin<p>No idea if there are symbols in international culture, which can be equivalent to this: "stay away from donkey's feet, dog's teeth and people holding a rosary in hand". It is a local proverb meaning that we must pay attention and not trust people who are used to show religious symbols but their real behaviour is quite the opposite. Instead of the rosary we could say the bible, in America it's full of those, I fear. <a href="https://mastodon.uno/tags/proverb" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>proverb</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.uno/tags/awareness" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>awareness</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.uno/tags/hypocrite" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>hypocrite</span></a></p>
