Oh right it's #MothWeek!
I just love these little metallic moths. They are casebearers—as caterpillars, they build little cases or shells for themselves out of plant matter, debris, etc.
I sometimes get very excited about new products, but they’re not met with the enthusiasm I was hoping for.
That’s just life as a small business, we keep going!
It just made every little magnet adoption extra special

An Elephant Mosquito (genus Toxorhynchites) spotted at Windsor Nature Park, Singapore on 8 Feb 2025. These large forest mosquitoes are not blood-suckers. And their larvae feed on other mosquito larvae (like those of Aedes aegypti), so they are considered a beneficial species.

Not sure who was more shocked in this groundbreaking encounter? We, or the Caroline grasshopper, it had its eyes on us. Oh well, it was a brief encounter before we all hopped away. #insects #nature #grasshopper #Canada #Naturephotography
