'In the last year or so, signs of a shift have started to emerge. A release on Scratcha's DRMTK label and b2bs with cult DJs like Neffa-T and RIZ LA TEEF saw Tim Reaper move fluidly through footwork, UK funky and other club styles with the same confidence and energy he brings to jungle. One set in particular stands out: a session last December at Dalston dubstep party NLDC, during which he provoked a frenzied call for a reload via an obscure Shackleton tune. It was a moment that spoke volumes about his range.
That same quality animates RA.1000: all seven and a half hours and 229 tracks of it. It begins with the grime-sampling weight of John T. Gast and ends with Stray & Halogenix's discombobulating drum & bass, all via hours of sleek US club, wobbly dubstep, modern techno and jungle of the atmospheric, headphone-friendly variety.'

I’ve seen many a jungle/drum n bass documentary, but honestly they just become better every year as the Og crew ages!
Like fine wine, all those junglists & metalheads just have better and better lines about what the music meant when it came together and morphed into everything we know, kind of between 1991 to 2001.
