We are going to have to start talking about the “prison-industrial complex. Because the same way that war and military spending fuel profits for a lucrativly rich segment of the economy, mass incarceration does as well.

It’s a grift. A huge amount of money is now going to building and operating prisons, all run by privately owned companies, who I guarantee are all heavy Trump donors.

Produce as much food as you can & go to farmers’ markets. Boycott complicit companies like Etsy, Amazon, Target, Walmart, etc. No holiday shopping! Postpone major purchases. WE ARE THE ECONOMY. Example: in the US, large corporations and billionaires buy the government. It's institutionalised corruption. There is no ceiling on how much you can "donate" to politicians. Donate = purchase.
In other Countries this system is illegal.
Trump has the reveres Robin Hood effect and Biden lied when he said that the US is fighting to uphold democracy and peace in the world. The opposite.
