The Summer Body / Il Corpo Estivo for #caturday ☀️

This is Maia, she is a neighbour. As you can see, Maia is long-haired which means a big floof shed before the hot weather. Now, she's a little bit of a rascal and doesn't like to be brushed when she's shedding her Winter coat - so instead she gives herself the zoomies through the bushes in the garden and uses their branches as brushes. 😂 I will say she looks hilarious when she runs because the fur trapped on her sides spreads out like wings. Like a little furry airplane. (In a few days she'll have shed almost everything and will allow her family to brush her again) 😂✈️✨

She's big fluffy floof! As elegant and beautiful as she is, she has been described as 'birichina' / 'a rascal'. 😈
One of her little tricks is the show you her belly, lure you into a false sense of security - if you touch her belly she "attacks", if you don't touch her belly she also "attacks" - because she put so much effort into the ruse and she doesn't want to come away empty pawed! 🐾 😂
("Attacks" means she wiggles her paws in your direction and gives you quite a stern look) 😂 She also looks a little dirty because a couple of minutes before this she was rolling around under the trees - we suspect she was looking for a victim but got bored quickly. 😂 ✨

"Awh, a dog looking out the window at the evening sky." No, it's the butt crack of dawn and this little cute but fuzzy demon is having a showdown with his arch nemesis - the neighbour's cat that's in the downstairs garden. He had to wake us all up by barking at this cat which is 3 stories below and in the opposite apartment block's garden.
If the cat is further than two meters away from him he will bark and grumble and be a "big man". If the cat comes closer than that he gets scared and runs away. For a "hunting dog" he is a big wuss. 😂 His name is Donut,. because he's a bit of a Donut. 😂
