A drive today, not a walk, to a section of the #BRP that is not closed. The temp when we turned into the park was 77, at our picnic spot it was 62! By the time we got home it was 87. Just have to go up (elev 5820ft)

The view from yesterday's picnic at Newcastle Beach. Brisk breeze, so we ate lunch wearing warm beanies. An English lady was in some way impressed by the look of us, our tablecloth weighed down with metal shells and insects, lunch in tiffins, an empty wine bottle, and she wanted a photo of it.
