Lots of basil. The near bed is the jalapeno and bell pepper bed and the far bed is all the Red Marconi sweet peppers. These closest basil plants are the lemon and lime ones and maybe the Thai basil in the very lower left.
The basil is full of honey bees, it's buzzing and smells great when I walk by.
Makes me grateful for any shrubs or trees providing windbreaks in my urban area

Looks like I'll be getting gifts from local pollinators. First, I let locally native Maypops (Passiflora incarnata) grow in my #garden. Complex and beautiful flowers.
Then I enjoy Carpenter Bees, very important native pollinators, while they do their thing. The caterpillars of the Gulf Fritillary butterfly also eat the leaves as their sole source of food. So I enjoy those butterflies as well.
Later, when the fruit grows and turns purple, I get Maypops to eat with their tropical tartness. And I don't have to go to the store. Thanks, pollinators!

Unsere Wildblumenwiese wurde beforscht! 
Auch in der Stadt braucht es Bestäuber wie Bienen und Hummeln. Um zu wissen, was in der Seestadt krabbelt und fliegt wurden sie von Kamila Chomicz und Andi Schütz bestimmt. Die Wildblumenwiese am Hannah-Arendt-Platz hat dabei eine gute Figur gemacht.

Sloes, the fruit of the Blackthorn (Prunus Spinosa) are abundant this year and are ripening early.
I reckon that 2025 is destined to be remembered as "the year of the fruit" because everything has done so well: soft fruit, stone fruit and top fruit.
The benign weather here lasted right through spring meaning there were plenty of insects to pollinate fruit plants of all kinds.
