Live in USA? The time to go solar is NOW.

If you have roof or ground space, you're going to want to use it. Electric rates are skyrocketing. I've had solar since 2017, so I didn't realize how high the rates are here in MD.

You don't need a wad of cash either. With the utility rates this high, even a zero-down loan or lease-to-own program can put you ahead.

Lastly, if you don't have space for solar, look into your local community solar projects and see if you can get a share.

The anti-climate idiots will try to get rid of the tax credit. So start researching now. EnergySage is a good start to help avoid scam installers. If you're local to WV panhandle, MD, PA or VA, the company I work for has exceptional ratings.

PS: Have gas or oil heating? Get a high efficiency heat pump (there are often programs to assist with the cost). You can't make gas, but you can make electricity!!

It's only a poll but it shows clearly that governments who are still celebrating #fossilFuels today have not heard the bang.

Gas turbine lead time is now > 5 years
Oil and gas prices are slumping due to tariffs and reduced demand - making fracking uneconomic (especially with tariffed steel prices rising)
Nuclear will take > 5 years to deliver (If they start today)

Meanwhile Wind, solar and batteries (which could start delivering in 12-18 months) are being actively legislated against.

How is this energy dominance again?

Greenwashed and gaslit: Why are UK energy bills still so high when more than half of our electricity now comes from renewables?

The answer: our broken market still lets gas set the price 98% of the time — enriching fossil fuel companies while the rest of us pay more than we should.

Labour promises cheaper bills, but without reforming the market, those promises ring hollow.

At a time when Lyford was in decline, Duke Energy Renewables arrived in 2012 to build the first phases of a massive new wind farm—installing 171 turbines across 23,000 acres of leased farmland here (an area roughly the size of Disney World), 30 miles west of the Gulf of Mexico. texasobserver.org/willacy-texa
