trails.tchncs.de · Ringvål - Storheia - Hammersborg bei Trondeheim<p>Mit dem Bus via Heimdal nach Ringvål. Von dort immer nach Norden. Es gibt eine Vielzahl von Pfaden, die im Frühsommer sehr sumpfig sein können. Kurz Rast in Rønningen und weiter durch die schöne Wald- und Seenlandschaft (Mückenschutz und gutes Schuhwerk!); teils über Planken, teils auf guten Pfaden, teils kaum sichtbare Spuren. Am Skjellbreia oder Kvistungen abgeschiedene Bademöglichkeit für Hartgesottene. Der Anschluss an den Gipfelpfad ist anfangs nicht leicht zu finden. Von oben herrlichen Aussicht. Hier ist es dann plötzlich auch bevölkert, da viele hierher laufen oder walken. Zurück Richtung Stadtrand ist die Route dann gut beschildert und befestigt. Wer müde ist, kann nach etwa 15 Kilometern bei Fjellsætra den Bus besteigen. Ansonsten weiter Richtung Osten und in Hammersborg den Bus Richtung Zentrum nehmen.</p>

A fancy #door in the heart of #Bremen for #Doorsday 🧐

This listed building is called Deutsches Haus ("German House") and was built between 1908 and 1911 as a council café ("Rathscafé"). It is divided into three gabled houses and features ornamental pieces of other historical buildings as a "document of old Bremen art and culture". It also has porticoes, which I haven't seen often in German towns and cities. Well, at least in my area. After its destruction in WW2, the building was rebuilt in 1950. Today, it houses a PR agency and a psychologist, amongst others.
While kiddo was watching the hula hoop artist I showed you a few weeks ago, I was distracted by this door and had to cross the street to snap a picture. 😅

I saw this a-door-able #door in #Magdeburg the other day and found it a real hoot! 🦉

Look at that #doorHandle! 😍

I found out that a famous ophthalmologist opened his clinic here in 1882, I assume the door design was inspired by this eye clinic. Today the listed building houses the Architectural Association of Saxony-Anhalt, a firm of financial advisers, and more.

Edit: This is the door of the Droste-Hülshoff-Turm (tower), named after the famous German poet and novelist Annette von Droste-Hülshoff, who spent some time here between 1818 and 1843, when she visited her aunt, who was the owner of the castle back then.

Happy #Doorsday everyone! 🚪
Here is #Germany's most famous #door (the website even claims it may be the most famous door in the world, ha!): The "Theses #Doors" of the All Saints' #Church in #Wittenberg. It is said that Martin Luther posted his 95 theses on this door. These theses launched the #Protestant #Reformation in 1517, resulting in the birth of #Protestantism.

Of course this is not the original door from back then. It burned down in 1760 in the Seven Years' War, together with most of the church, and was replaced. These #bronze doors were installed on Luther's 375th birthday in 1858, with his theses inscribed in Latin. Today, the doors are only used for special occasions. And for photos of course. Lots and lots of photos ... 😋
