I can cook food that doesn't taste like anyone else's. Doesn't mean it's any good. 😆

Joking aside, I guess it depends on what you're listening for. When I was a wee laddie, I was a choirboy, and it's rather spoilt me for vocals as impure as #Bono's. #U2's commercial success demonstrates that a lot of people enjoy them, and that's fine. We don't all have to like the same thing, and we can listen to different types of music for different purposes at different times. I certainly do!

And now I've watched U2 play Bad at Live Aid on this reacts video. I either forgot or had no idea that Bono spotted a woman in trouble in the audience and jumped down off the stage and comforted her. A human after all.

Gisteren een rit van vijf kwartier in mijn eentje met de auto. Ik gebruik zulke ritjes vaak om een paar oude albums die ik nog op CD heb liggen mee te nemen en af te spelen tijdens het rijden. Deze keer Rattle amd Hum van U2 (naar mijn mening hun beste album), Monster van REM (niet hun beste maar wel een hele goede) en het debuutalbum van Aerosmith (met Make it, Mama Kin en het geweldige Dream On). Was een fijne rit!

I'll have to blog longer thoughts on #Haim's new album, I Quit - short answer, I like it.

The closing track is a delicious nod to #U2, not only are they utilizing the unmistakable riff from Numb (from their album Zooropa), and the "jam" at the end is full of that early U2 rock grit.

It has been a while since I've done a #TuneTuesday and with the theme #ClipClopMusic they're making it not easy. Dunno know any #hiphop tracks about horses and the only thing that comes to my mind is #U2's 'Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses' 🐎, which is I think a reference to 'Wild Horses' of #TheRollingStones, not sure though.
