The problem is that any helpful example is going to be hard to easily describe. </p><p>The closest thing I can think of is way back when Photoshop 4 moved from a flat tool pallet of many tools to a much smaller hierarchical one. It was well done and the tools you used frequently shifted to the top so it reflected your specific work pattern.</p><p>But I expect there are even better examples?</p>
