I've worked on the Book Riot's Read Harder challenge this year, and for the first time I've completed all the tasks! Audiobooks are the reason I've managed this, because I've had trouble reading since I got ME (/CFS). I do read some on my Kindle, but it's slow going compared to listening to them.
I like this challenge because as they say:
The 24 tasks encourage you to explore settings, characters, formats, genres, and perspectives you might not otherwise have tried.

Read Harder Task #1: Read a biography of an author you admire.
I decided to let an autobiography qualify, and to consider Bruce Springsteen an author (Dylan won the literature prize, right?!) Even though I've loved the Boss since I was 12, I haven't read this one! Huge bonus,he reads the audiobook himself. 5

I did finish the 2022 Book Riot's Read Harder Challenge, yay for me! In this thread I'm listing which books I chose for the 24 tasks, and what I thought of them. I will be doing the 2023 challenge, but that's a different thread!
Read Harder Task #6 Read a Nonfiction YA Comic:
I went for Maus by Art Spiegelman, it was on my TBR list and I think it can count as YA.
I agree that it is a must-read, it's also heartbreaking. 5
