He was 91.<br>
The cause was complications from prostate <a href="https://masto.ai/tags/cancer" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>cancer</span></a>, said his son, William Cope Moyers.
Long before he became a grandee of <a href="https://masto.ai/tags/PublicTelevision" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>PublicTelevision</span></a>, the <a href="https://masto.ai/tags/Texas" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Texas</span></a>-born Moyers was a top aide &, by many accounts, a surrogate son to Johnson.</p>
