“Get off my water!!!” A male Mute Swan puts on a ‘look how big and scary I am’ display of power to tell the two other Swans he is barrelling toward that they are absolutely not welcome on *his* part of East Marsh Pool. Brandon Marsh, near Coventry, earlier this month.
This bast*rd bird bit me.
This swan was too dumb to figure out to chase sinking seed, so I leaned out the swan doors with a palmful of delicious birdseed in my flat, outstretched hand. Usually swans will feed this way before they learn to chase the sinking seed. This one decided to bite me.
It didn't break the skin, but nearly abraded the skin off my index finger.
I guess that makes me the stupid one.
Astoundingly cute baby swans (cygnets) fluffing about in the river.
Their parents saw me and came over.
But I didn’t have food,
so the cygnets became sleepy.
and fell asleep.
Beware the radioactive swan butt.

Who’s afraid of the Big Bad . . . Crow? These Cygnets were not happy, that’s for sure. Neither was their Mum, just out of picture, who soon sent the Corvid packing! Photographed at Brandon Marsh, near Coventry, yesterday.
Pushing the phone cam's zoom to it's limit to catch the cute sight of the baby swan popping up to greet the world.
It's been years since we had cygnets so close to home.

Man nehme eine 100 Euro Bridgekamera, aus dem Jahre 2012 und geht damit fotografieren.
