cstephens2<p>I was also surprised and pleased to see <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/JulianneNicholson" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>JulianneNicholson</span></a> in the film, though I'm looking at her role a bit differently now that I've seen her in <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Paradise" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Paradise</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/ParadiseTVShow" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ParadiseTVShow</span></a> .</p><p>The biggest disappointment is that many of the key points, as well as the most spectacular scene, were all given away in the trailer. I really dislike when they do that. I'd been excited when I'd seen the trailer, and I thought it was a really interesting premise. The script didn't quite flesh out the story idea quite as interestingly as I'd have liked. The movie is ok, but it didn't really grab me. <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/RamiMalek" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RamiMalek</span></a> was good, as was <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/LaurenceFishburne" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>LaurenceFishburne</span></a> in a mostly throwaway role. 1/2</p>
