LollaMacWithout the help of the Thin Blue Paw, many former working dogs like me would struggle to find new homes as the risk of health problems in later life would be too great. So, with the help of my Mam, I've decided to do something special to celebrate my birthday this year, and give something back. LollaMacThankfully, a fantastic charity called the Thin Blue Paw exists to offer financial support with vet bills to people who own retired police dogs. LollaMacUnfortunately police dog life can be tough, and at just 4 years old I suffered a broken leg while working, and my career came to an early end. If you've been following LollaMac for a while now, you'll probably know me as the LollaMac shop dog, but what you might not know about me is that before I became a jewellery workshop assistant, I used to earn my keep as a working Police Dog.
