earthling<p>In the Wildlife Sanctuary of Rema-Kalenga, Tripura men prepare bamboo harvested from the surrounding forests. Often called “the poor man's timber”, bamboo plays a major role in regional markets. Thirty-three species have been recorded and are a main source of income. It is men who collect and prepare the bamboo.
