Chris<p><strong>Bindweed poll</strong></p><p>Should I let bindweed grow on my hedge. Since moving in I have regularly removed it. I recently wondered whether leaving it would be better for nature, supporting butterflies and bees. I don't think it would reduce the amount of work, if I let it grow in the hedge unrestricted it would mean more runners into the flowerbeds. Myain worry is it would harm the hedge as I have seen hedges where the leaves are almost entirely obscured by the wide bindweed leaves.</p><p>Should I let it grow unrestricted, keep removing it as it appears, or something different?</p><p><a class="hashtag" href="https://mitra.northumbria.me/collections/tags/poll" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#poll</a> <a class="hashtag" href="https://mitra.northumbria.me/collections/tags/nature" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#nature</a> <a class="hashtag" href="https://mitra.northumbria.me/collections/tags/bindweed" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#bindweed</a> <a class="hashtag" href="https://mitra.northumbria.me/collections/tags/convolvulus" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#convolvulus</a> <a class="hashtag" href="https://mitra.northumbria.me/collections/tags/conservation" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#conservation</a> <a class="hashtag" href="https://mitra.northumbria.me/collections/tags/convolvulus" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#convolvulus</a> <a class="hashtag" href="https://mitra.northumbria.me/collections/tags/naturefriendly" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#natureFriendly</a> <a class="hashtag" href="https://mitra.northumbria.me/collections/tags/bees" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#bees</a> <a class="hashtag" href="https://mitra.northumbria.me/collections/tags/butterflies" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#butterflies</a> <a class="hashtag" href="https://mitra.northumbria.me/collections/tags/insects" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#insects</a></p>
