Jens<p>So overall a nice day out and about. Felt stronger than last year at the Meråker Mountain Challenge, kept going with the naughty knee (felt like Gollum on the last downhill section 😅) and saw some incredible nature. Good support along the trail with 8 aid stations serving drinks and food. At one I even got «Svele».<br />So lots of lessons learned. Can highly recommend to find your way to the start line, be it as hiker for on of the stretches or as runner for the full or half <a href="https://snabelen.no/tags/fyrtilfyr" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>fyrtilfyr</span></a>. 3/3</p>
Jens<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.radio/@g7soz" class="u-url mention">@<span>g7soz</span></a></span> Managed to get from the start to the finish line! :) Back home now and back to work today. Will sit down a bit to write some more soon. <br />Attached is a sneak peak from the first ascent of <a href="https://snabelen.no/tags/FyrTilFyr" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>FyrTilFyr</span></a> to Okla (149.8 m asl) where the field was still together. :)</p><p><a href="https://snabelen.no/tags/trailrunning" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>trailrunning</span></a> <a href="https://snabelen.no/tags/running" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>running</span></a></p>
Jens<p>It’s getting real. Packing stuff to travel to the start line of <a href="https://snabelen.no/tags/FyrTilFyr" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>FyrTilFyr</span></a> tomorrow. Registered for the race back in December as the nature over on <a href="https://snabelen.no/tags/Her%C3%B8y" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Herøy</span></a> looks incredible.<br />The adventure of about 43 km with some 2500 m elevation gain distributied over five islands kept me motivated to embrace running on snow, ice and through rain and sun. :) Mentally prepared for a mixture of swamp, steep ascents and asphalt bridges. </p><p><a href="https://snabelen.no/tags/trailrunning" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>trailrunning</span></a></p>
