Ein Leuchtturm steht rumDieser rotfleischige <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/Pfirsich" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Pfirsich</a> ist meines Wissens nach der letzte Strauch in unserem Ort. Früher gab es etwa sieben Sträucher, die auf dem Grundstück der Schwester der Bäuerin wuchsen, aber für Neubauten rausgerissen wurden. Der Sturm hat viele Früchte vom Strauch geschlagen, der wegen der Fülle der Früchte auseinander zu brechen droht. Nun habe ich einen Schwung der Pfirsiche aufsammeln dürfen. Und aus ihren Kernen werde ich versuchen, neue Pflanzen zu ziehen. Sollte jemand von Euch wissen, wie ich das am Besten mache, was für Erde gebraucht wird - immer her damit!Ggf. könnte ich sogar einige Kerne unter Euch verteilen, damit Ihr auch mal Euer Glück damit versuchen könnt. ~meoralis~A couple of months ago, my village started a chat community for news and updates as well as offering and requesting help, and buying/selling/giving away stuff. When we installed our permanent chicken fence, we asked around if someone had a post hole borer (our land is basically rubble topped with loamy soil, there was no way we were getting through with a manual tool). And bingo, a guy a few streets away had one we could borrow. 🤗 When we brought it back, he said we were welcome to pick some <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/apples?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#apples</a> and <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/peaches?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#peaches</a> because they had so many and would just let them go to waste. So that's what we did. Thank you, friendly neighbour, they are delicious! (Our trees didn't get the memo that this year is a bumper crop year ... nutsDie erste von 5 Früchten des kleinen <a href="https://sueden.social/tags/Pfirsich" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Pfirsich</a>-Bäumchens, das ich vor 1 1/2 Jahren gepflanzt habe, lag gestern auf dem Boden.Gleich mal probiert u. überglücklich - der "Kernechte vom Vorgebirge" schmeckt herrlich süß und aromatisch.Hatte befürchtet, dass diese robuste Sorte für raue Lagen auch etwas rustikal schmeckt.Leider ist er genauso anfällig für die Kräuselkrankheit wie andere Pfirsichsorten.
