MarContinuing the reading challenge: "read a classic", I listened to Le Petit Prince (by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry). Given how much I enjoyed branching out to other languages, I listened to it in French. The reading, by Bernard Giraudeau (a French actor), was excellent. I used to have a level C in French, but without practice, I thought I'd lost most of it. I was so full of joy when I realized I could still understand it, that I had to stop the reading for a moment. <a href="https://social.coop/tags/SummerReading" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#SummerReading</a>

MarI eventually found, and listened to, a Spanish translation of Pride and Prejudice. I found it on YouTube, and the reader was very engaging. I had missed some of the details the couple of times I listened to it in English, so there was some advantage to listening to it in my first language.
