Yes - Close to the Edge

I know this is many Yes fans' favorite album, and while I acknowledge it has many good moments, it's also the tipping point where their ambition, craft, and skill started to overwhelm their *songwriting*.

There's nothing wrong with trying to push the form forward, but at some point trying to show you're writing "serious symphonic music" drains the joy from it, and this album is pushing close to that edge.
