On Thursday I painted my hundredth watercolour for this year.

Monday was apparently international beaver day.

Although I've been keeping up with making daily art, I haven't been posting it.
Starting Wednesday I'll be traveling and to keep things simple, I'm leaving my watercolours at home. I'll do extra paintings when I get home.

Art 365/081: Changeling:
Last week I thought my missing cat had been found. A cat who was almost her twin got into Salmon's cat carrier. When by the next morning it was obvious that she wasn't, another woman thought she was her missing cat. Again she wasn't. So this watercolor is in honor of that cat (who is now back with the people who found her first).
Art 365/080: Colour - Today is apparently international colour day. I wanted to follow on yesterday's abstract approach where I let the water do much of the heavy lifting. But I also have a self imposed rule on my pages that one square must have a chicken on it. Since tomorrow is "Caturday" and I have a cat piece planned for the box, today's box also needed a chicken. So an ink and acrylic marker chook on top.
Art 365/079: Spring
I used one of my photos of the plum tree in bloom from earlier this month as a reference. As I'd only had about two hours of sleep and had a number of things I had to do yesterday, I did the one quickly. It's intentionally looser and more abstract than my typical style.

Art 365/022: Kisses - although I usually work from photographs I've taken, this one I just set up the kisses on the table next me. I prefer to work from photographs because the astigmatism is so bad in my right eye.
