"...hours into his 25-hour speech on the Senate floor, the #Democrat #CoryBooker uttered the word “Gaza”. He was not talking about the war. He stepped nowhere near the 50,000 Palestinians killed by the Israeli armed forces since 8 October 2023, or the US’s military and political support of the genocide.

Rather, #Booker was searching for a particularly ludicrous lie... “There are lies about USAID, ... like 5 million condoms going to Gaza or something outrageous,” he said. Considering the other outrageous things #Trump has said about #Gaza – such as his plan to “clean out” the strip to make room for luxury resorts – the remark felt trivializing."

Parece que la maratón de 25 horas del Senador Cort Booker fue interesante.

Usó todo ese tiempo para armar su caso contra las políticas de Trump. Excepto un breve periodo de dos horas donde explicó con suficientes detalles cómo conoció a su señora esposa.

Aparentemente cuando hacen esas cosas llenan el tiempo cantando o leyendo un libro.

El Senador Booker usó su tiempo para hablar de política.

Me dio curiosidad por escuchar que dijo. El discurso por supuesto está grabado en la televisión del congreso así que lo voy a escuchar.

One of the things Senator Cory #Booker described in the middle of the night is Trump's timeline for invoking the Insurrection Act & that chilling description kept me awake far longer.

On "Day One" Trump tasked Sec Def & Sec Hom Sec with a 90 DAY study & preparation timeline on the #InsurrectionAct, which will enable him to use the military within the country to round up & deport people, among other things.

Be advised that prep time is up on APRIL 20.
