We know that in times of disaster/war, people band together, help each other, share their supplies. It’s BECAUSE they’re not monsters - the overwhelming majority of people feel empathy, have a sense of community, and feel the pain of others suffering. People WANT to help, and in disasters, they DO HELP.

Playing some strange twin stick shooters/roguelikes on itch today. The first one I tried is called 'Holding Out' (you can download for Windows or play in browser as I am from this Linux laptop) and it's a shooter where you're some kind of weird creature, fending off other weird creatures that have been turned to zombies-- but you're also stuck in a warehouse and waiting on hold for help and for more supplies. Hilarious and stressful.

Finally started playing Project Zomboid! It perfectly captures how I would survive in a zombie apocalypse. Hurting and agonizing because I cut myself with a glass. And not much.
Every 7th night, they come in droves. Suddenly fast and aware of my hideouts. They'll smash through wooden doors in seconds and claw their way through stone walls and steel bars.
I survived once by climbing on a roof and sniping them from above and through a hole in the roof when they got in, but they almost collapsed the walls to bring me down.
Now I've built a castle. Workshops, vulture tower and killing tunnel with dart traps. Tonight they come.

I need a simple answer.
I'm a massive #zombies fan but this new trailer for the second season of The Last of Us (returning in just a few weeks) is so intense I'm honestly not sure I'll be able to watch it.
