The Official Adventures Of Batman & Robin: Exciting Episodes Of Their Battles Against The Evil Forces Of Society
1966 U.S. pressing

What a wonderful belated birthday gift!
My good friend Richie swung by the house to drop this off.
He knew I was feeling pretty sick for a while, and that it was over my birthday.

“Just wanted to get you a birthday gift and motivate you to get better. I know it’s a goofy gift, but I figured you’d appreciate it.”

And appreciate it I do!
I LOVE records like this!

This is essentially a radio-play type story of the Batman & Robin origin story on Side 1.

Side 2 is made up of two Penguin and Joker-centric tales.

Apparently, there’s a second instalment also from 1966 available as well. Now I definitely need to find that as well.

What a killer gift!

#QuestionOfTheDay name two people/groups/entities that were or could have been brilliant together if they could've just gotten along/gotten along for longer, but ultimately just couldn't get along?

This can be artists, musicians, athletes, broadcasters, etc or even politicians, companies or countries I suppose if you want to really get global, but try not to make it too abstract or too much of a reach.

An example for instance is Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels who had their best matches with each other but also hated each other and those differences eventually (partially) led to the Montreal Screwjob.

A good friend of mine has launched a Kickstarter for a slick photo book with a really unique concept.

He has paired his passions for photography and comics and has partnered up with artists across Canada. He took some of his best photos and the artists did their spin on them.

Awesome concept. Stunning artwork. Great person to support.

44 years today since 'Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends' first aired, running for 3 seasons from 1981 to 1983. Featuring the team-up of Spider-Man, Ice Man, Firestar, who was specifically created for the show before later crossing into the comics, and one of the most fundamentally important Marvel characters and eventual member of the Pet Avengers, Ms. Lion (no I will not be debating this indisputable fact). With several guest appearances from characters like the X-Men, Thor, and Doctor Strange.
