Based on Sentinel 1 imagery (radar imagery) the oil spill can seen as dark pattern in the false color image on the sea. The hazard happens on 15th of December. The first Sentinel image in this area is from 18th, showing a sharp defined oil spill with a length of approx. 10 km, moving eastwards. One day later the spill had a length of approx. 55 km length, moving towards the village Anapa. (own work)
