@bkardell I don't think Europe needs Microsoft telling us what to do. Microsoft is not a good citizen of anywhere.
I mean, yes, Europe does need to invest more in #FreeSoftware, and infrastructure for free software. But a very early part of that should be setting up a #GitHub alternative with a clear, open, public governance structure.
